Thanks to Manitowoc County, we've raised $870,000 to fund 20 programs in our community.

 

United Way Manitowoc's Mission Statement:

The mission of United Way Manitowoc County, Inc. is to provide a volunteer structure to identify and prioritize community needs and to raise and allocate funds to service those needs in an efficient and effective manner.

 

 

 

Making an Impact in YOUR Community.

United Way does more than just fund programs.  We are involved in many Community Impact Programs.

We are involved with various Diversity Circles, the Coordinated Services Team Process, the Healthiest Manitowoc 2010 Steering Committee, the Human Resources Council, and M.A.N.Y

 

Our Areas of Impact include:

Strengthening Families, Increasing Self-Sufficiency, Nurturing Children & Youth, Promoting Health & Healing, and Insuring Basic Needs.

Did You Know?

Programs funded by United Way of Manitowoc County served over 30,000 people last year, about 82 people each day. With allocation requests increasing each year, needs are rising faster than the resources!

Did You Know?

Nearly 80 cents of every dollar contributed to United Way of Manitowoc County goes directly to essential health and human service programs in our area. United Way of Manitowoc County’s operating costs are among the lowest in the nation, making it the most cost effective way to contribute to the well-being of our communities.

United Way 2-1-1 provides easy access to health and human services. 2-1-1 is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 2-1-1 is the number to call for help with food, counseling, employment, support groups, housing, shelter, legal aid, clothing and education.
